Joshua Meier Wins 3rd at Siemens Competition

Joshua Meier, a senior at the Bergen County Academies, won third place and a $40,000 scholarship on December 10th, 2013 in the prestigious Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology. His project was entitled "Control of Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Aging by Modulation of Mitochondrial DNA Deletions," and his research was carried out under the direction of Dr. Robert Pergolizzi in the Stem Cell Lab.
