The top ten in the 2014 Intel STS Competition were announced at a gala event in Washington D.C. on March 11th. Joshua Meier placed 4th in the competiton, the highest finish ever for a BCA Research student, taking home a $40,000 scholarship for his achievement. Josh's project examined the role of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) in the rapid aging of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
